I can honestly say the bridge jumping over this is embarrassing. As I said two weeks ago, if his name weren’t Brohm, there’d have been no urge to hire him. Relax, and realize there are plenty good coaches out there.Nothing against Brohm, but he’s the epitome of an overvalued stock at this point.

All true however his name IS Brohm, and it might as well be mud now. He turned his back on his home town, his Alma Mater, and the UofL fans.

The reason people are upset is because his name IS Brohm, overvalued or not.

Not only turned his back on UofL, he used UofL. Punked us all like a savage.
Sure feels that way. Hope it was worth it for him, and I'm sure he feels it was or he wouldn't have made it.

His name, his reputation, his place of honor in UofL folk lore feels damaged after today's 'decision'. I don't believe he'll ever be able to recover it either.

Time won’t heal this wound. The Brohm name irrevocably damaged.

Some UK fans felt this way after Craig Yeast’s son decommited from UK and came to UL.

The point is currently college football is about money, not loyalty. Sad but true

I have felt this way all along. I wanted Brohm to coach UofL, but $6 million is too high for a .500 coach. The win over Ohio State dazzled everyone, but he also lost to frigging EMU for hells' sakes. Everybody who loves UofL football should lick their wounds for a day, and then get ready to support the next coach.

He hardly used Louisville. He was 100% honest the entire time, despite what the deplorable media wanted you to believe. He listened, thought about it logically, and declined. Don't be so butt hurt.

If this is the case he was right to never take the job. He could never have left. It would’ve been like Lebron leaving Cleveland. He doesn’t owe the people of Louisville anything. Props to him for carving out his own path instead of feeling trapped by his family name

No they didn’t lol. Craig tried to leverage his son into a coaching position at UK. Craig wanted the staff at UK to worship Russ like he was a prodigy. Russ made a surprise visit to UL without talking to the UK staff. He didn’t have the leverage to do that. The relationship soured and he ended up at UL. No one was heartbroken.

That is a way to look at it. I mean how horrible it must be to have a name that opens doors that stay closed for most everyone else. Oh the horror of that scenario. Poor Jeff Brohm. How can he ever just be a normal guy?

I love being lectured to about a Louisville matter, on a Louisville athletics site, about a Louisville alum, taking a Louisville job by a f-ing Ky fan. Nobody gives a sh!t what you people have to say about anything. GTFO. Why are you here?

It seems like way too many of those pricks are allowed to flourish on this site.
