I liked most of what I saw from Jaylen tonight. He has gotten in much better shape and isn't as quickly winded as last season. He was aggressive today and had 13 pts and 9 rebs. He has some much needed bulk for the front court- being the only big that didn't need to pack on some pounds- and will be key in banging with some of the other bigs coming up later in the season.

I liked what I saw too. He isn't super talented but he works his arse off when he's out there playing. That's more than I could say about his game before this year. He is in terrific shape and he NOW plays harder because of his conditioning. That means he has the will to get better and he has. Good to see!

Some Cards fans wanted him vanquished.

He's been the most consistent player.

Id start him at the 5 Adel at the 4. Yeah ive bitc#ed about small lineups.

Just want VJ to start and get more PT.

Rotate Mangok, Anas, and Ray at the 4/5.

This is a Sweet sixteen team, who can sneak into the elite 8 or FF.

JJ needs to quit attempting to dunk everything. He can get and ones but not if he tries dunking every time.
That's probably the Harrell effect at play. He tries to attack the rim like Harrell did but he doesn't have the length or hops to destroy the rim like that. He plays hard. No denying that.

Agree. This is a really good team with length, size and athleticism. I also like the athletic lineup with Anas/Ray/Jaylen at the 5 with Adel and King.

The best lineups include Adel and King on the floor at the same time rotating the guys you mentioned.

Just picture a combination of Mitchell, VJ, Adel, Jaylen/Ray/Anas/Mango in the match up zone running up and down the floor. Hicks gets his mind right and becomes a contributor. Q of course will be in there as a starter.

Pitino has options that I'm sure will be dependent on game to game matchups.

Will be interesting to watch and see how it all plays out. Nice to see how Jaylen has trimmed down and obviously worked on his game.

There have been some fans low on Jaylen and Adel and some of it for good reason. Those fans will be eating their words in a few weeks.

He's our most improved, and best big. He needs to consistently give us 10 & 8. If he can do that with regularity it would allow us to be consistent as a team.

Last I saw he was averaging a double double and probably only plays about 1/2 the game.

Definitely one of our best bigs.

I'd like to see Q, Mitchell, VJ,JJ, and Spaulding all in the game at the same time. That would be our best offensive lineup IMO.

I don't know I like: Matz, Spaulding, VJ, DM, & McMahon for best offensive line up.

Wow I did not even realize that was his stat line tonight. JJ quietly put up 9pts, 10 boards, and 6 blocks. We have shot blocking in spades in the front court.
