Jay Scrubb is a BAD man

Just watched that entire video. Jay Scrubbs is an amazing talent. If he plays here, he will be the best player on our team. NBA talent.

Easy now, I watched him play at John A a few times last year, he's loaded with ability but he doesn't always play hard and doesn't have the best of attitudes.. Hopefully Mack will make him into the best he can be..

I think he wants to be next level so he will play really hard to prove he belongs there.

I don’t like the OAD but at least the end is near. Is it 2 more years? Some programs have some MAJOR adjusting coming, which is going to interesting to watch.

I’m hoping this kid just plays up to the level of competition. The ACC and Card schedule should provide him with enough “competition” to show up for each and every game.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Multiple NBA mock drafts project Scrubb as a first-rounder, or close to it, this spring: NBAdraft.net has him at No. 27 overall, ESPN puts him 35th and NBA Draft Room 36th. An impressive sophomore season at John A. Logan could solidify Scrubb's lottery chances.

According to Jason Scrubb, about 15 NBA teams have contacted John A. Logan coach Kyle Smithpeters to ask about Jay. Representatives from the Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons visited the campus in Carterville, Illinois, last week; the Atlanta Hawks will be there this week

I was most impressed with the passing. Every player gave the ball up.
My "guess" is that the current UofL players use this as a recruiting tool and try to let the recruiting targets shine and have fun, much like an All-Star game atmosphere. This isn't the time or place to try to show up or shut down guys they are hoping to attract as teammates. And, I'm sure they want to see what the young guys can do just like us fans.

I think it's more culture and having a year in Mack's system. But I thought the recruits, 2 5 star kids also passed it well. Impressive.
