We stink. Outscored 32-6 in the second half by Georgia Tech? We’re sloppy, undisciplined and an overall pile of crap. Good luck recruiting with this mess. We’ve totally regressed in year two. Unbelievably disappointing.

Hard to defend the lack of execution last night but I’d say a better definition of a loser is somebody that constantly whines and rags on his team when they’re down.Anyone who defends this is a loser.

I could be wrong but I don’t remember seeing your posts on here last year when we’re enjoying the biggest turnaround season in college football and winning a bowl game.
Addiction to misery is a thing apparently.

Nice work here. I have supported Louisville football through thick and thin. If you want to be a fan boy have at it. You’re in the right space. Did you play a sport or are you just a voyeur?
I’m not bailing on my favorite team I am too much of a homer. My only complaint in regards to our recruiting is there is no Trinity kids in the class. Trinity is ranked in the top 10 nationally and they have a lot of talent on this team. I look at our recruiting and we have a good class coming in next year. Petrino really damaged us and I don’t know what was behind it.
Coach Satterfield and staff need more than a year to rebuild this program. This is really a crazy season with teams like LSU and Alabama struggling against lesser opponents. I also think we had unexpected success last year so teams aren’t overlooking us this year. As a homer I am hoping for a better 2nd half to the season.
That don’t fly when the other team is playing under the same conditions unless you think it was raining harder when we had the ball. Their QB supposedly had interception issues but we couldn’t put any pressure on him.The offensive line has definitely regressed, but that is understandable when you lose the #11 pick in the draft. There are no Mekhi Becton’s completely dominating everyone he lines up against and forcing defenses to play outside their lanes just to make a tackle.
This offense still has that big play capability through the air, but unfortunately last night Hurricane Delta made the deep ball and even the intermediate route throws much more inaccurate. There was no better indication of that than the very first pass to tight end Ean Pfeifer, a certain touchdown to a normally reliable receiver that was just dropped.
Have you seen Trinity play they are about the same size as Louisville. They are well coached in the fundamentals of football like how to tackle. They have 300 lb lineman, 6’4” 220 pound defensive backs and their tight ends are the same size as Louisville’s. Don’t tell me they don’t have talented players.
Our best years were when we had top local kids mixed into our roster mainly from Trinity and Male and some from St.X. I was wondering what Trinity game did you go to they’er only allowing 1000 per game and family members go first?

This is why coaches bail on us ASAP.
Because too many uk type “fans”.
Not a Trinity fan but I have a relative playing for them and saw them play Ballard this past Friday. I know I’ll miss one or two but this season’s team has a kid committed to Cincinnati, one going to Akron and another going to Appalachian State. They’re be a few more getting spots too but probably not big time schools. If THS has that many great players why isn’t Saban, Swinney and the like in town all the time?
Maybe they are as I don’t follow THS but I’m pretty sure somebody on this board would know if they were.
You tell me, where have all of these THS players gone after HS? Mostly OVC and such.
I’m not knocking these kids. They are GOOD, disciplined, hard working football players.
But if we can’t win with kids from FLA, GA, and Bama that other P5s are after, we can’t win with “most”THS players.
It also has to do with their workout routines meaning weight training and practice routines. Unfortunately we live in a state where the high school athletic association is ran like a socialist government. Restricting athletes from practicing all year round like most of the Southern states.
Actually I played basketball and football through High School here in Louisville and it’s pretty telling that you have to go to the “fanboy” comment.Nice work here. Nobody said rely on local kids for bulk of your roster but let’s keep the good local kids in Louisville. Our best teams were when we had the best local kids on the team with the bulk of our roster coming from Florida.
The KHSAA did away with spring practice a long time ago. They said it gave the Catholic schools an unfair advantage over the public schools. This is where the socialism aspect of the KHSAA comes in. Instead of doing something to make everybody better they doing something to make everybody equally poorer.
