Is Watson calling plays again?

I just knew that 3rd and 1 play was going to be stupid. Why pitch the ball outside making it 4 yards to get the 1st down? That was the perfect time for Jackson in the wildcard. This is just not the Petrino play calling we're used to. I just don't understand it.

I was thinking the same thing, I also wonder why we have no draw plays or go outside around the ends. It seems every run is between tackle and we have have no push with the O-line.

Again, what is with the 3rd and 2 running up the middle? Why not a short pass to the TE, or to the RB? We needed to score on that drive and we again keep trying to force our will on 3rd and short. Nothing is working right now. Nothing is going right for this offense.

I thought it was a terrible call too, a deep pitch against an extremely quick front 7 when you only need a half yard. It looked like no one was lined up over our Center and Bolin could have easily sneaked it for 18 inches.

The only thing I can think of was that the coaches thought that Clemson would over pursue and Radcliffe could cut it back but instead the D completely blew our O-line up.

I think Bobby new that was an awful call.
