Had the pleasure of meeting Derek at an off campus party when he was a 16 year old Freshman and I was a Sophomore.
It wasn't hard to see how down to earth he was,surrounded by all of the temptations that college life can bring. I thought then and I suspect now in his son that people are drawn to guys like that. Got their own way of doing things in life that don't bring bad light on themselves.
I suspect that if Nolan is like his Dad in that regard,he will always succeed.
