If you haven’t read the article and seen the video of Nebraska students cheering on Busboom Kelly and Louisville google it. Google, Nebraska students cheer on Busboom Kelly and Louisville. The article was really good and the students had a nice little routine.

My fear is Dani leaving UL for the Cornhuskers. She is clearly one of the best coaches in this game and everyone loves her.

I agree and the Nebraska coach is 66 years old right now, I would think Dani would be Nebraska’s first choice. It will depend on salary and if Dani wants to go back to the small town atmosphere. I hope she likes the convenience and the perks of living in a bigger city.

Also Nebraska is paying their coach $675.000 and Dani is making 400.000 and the just signed a new contract. Her buyout is low and would be easy for her to be snatched. I think Louisville needs to pony up and make it harder for schools to go after her.

She will go when asked. Both she and her husband from there. Can’t blame her. Hope we get a good replacement . Also hope their current coach stays for awhile longer!

Yeah unfortunately you’re probably right her husband played football at Nebraska. When and if that day comes Louisville will most likely offer the job to Dan Meske. He is currently the Associate Head Coach.

I wonder what Nebraska’s NIL situation is because their volleyball team is on the same level as ours. They also don’t seem be lighting things up in football, basketball or other women’s sports.

Not sure it matters. They pull in 8k for their matches. Revenue - big time. If they attend volleyball that well - my guess is there is NIL$ available. Nothing else out there to do.

She grew up 45 minutes from Lincoln. She's a Nebraska alum. If she were to go back, it would be like Brohm coming back here. Wouldn't fault her at all.

Population of Nebraska is only 1.96 million people, average income is only $33,000 that doesn’t add up to a lot of NIL money. If she wants to win a title in era of the transfer portal and NIL she needs something bigger than Nebraska.

Texas separated itself from the field with all of those transfers. It would be interesting to know how many of those kids got NIL funds and how much.
