The first was last year when this coaching staff came in here and healed the wounded.
Even though we were overmatched on both lines, today was a statement in toughness that should linger and bring an identity to these young Cardinals going forward. Nobody on our side worried about the opponent or our record going in. I don’t agree with us dropping in coverage and not being more aggressive on that big 3rd down at the end but overall it was outstanding coaching and our players effort and execution were also outstanding all game long.
That was a really good, senior laden team with NFL players dotted throughout that we went toe to toe with for 60 minutes and it took everything they had to finally put us away. Proud of our team.
