I reiterate. Its time for Petrino to go.

If we fire Bobby, then we better have a GUARANTEE that Brohm will be the guy or I will not be on board.

We are in a Big Boy league now, and if we want to win big we can't bet on the next big coordinator or even the hot shot mid major coach. Broom has to be the guy. The next Charlie or Bobby is fine, but those coaches proved that we are a stepping stone to a bigger job.

Bobby is a proven good coach and is loyal to being here due to circumstance. Brohm is a proven guy who coached here. We can't bet on chance anymore. We need consistency.

Bobby has only won less than 8 games once in his career. We better have someone good. Tennessee is a way better program than us

I understand the early struggles with having a young defense and another new DC along with having to replace one of the greatest college football players of all time but we are a dead program right now.

Jawon Pass was one of the most highly sought after recruits in the country a few years ago and we have an experienced o-line, receiving talent and a solid stable of Running Backs and yet another nadir reached today.

It seems like there is something wrong inside the program....but what?

1) Is It a player(s) who is a cancer in the locker room? 2) Is the problem among the coach(es)? 3) Did the disaster that led to the firing of Jurich &/or the subsequent hiring of a new AD somehow destabilize thing?

As stated elsewhere, there's talent here----but they hardly seem to be showing up: WHY??

At this rate this team'll finish 2-10

LPT will beat us this year. They have more talent and the games have shown that fatboy Stoops can outdo Bobby.

2014 Bobby got bailed out with Bolin luckily stepping in for and helping Parker step up that day. And if it wasn't for that sUcKs defender dropping the interception, we lose

2015 If Lamar hadn't come in the game, we get blown out of that stadium.

2017 Lamar just owned them single handedly.

Other than last year, fat boy Stoops has outreached Bobby with far less talent on his roster.

Brohm is from Petrino coaching tree. We don’t need Petrino 3.0. Break away from it all. Start new.

Only SuCkS fans bring up a game that is 2 months away.
Only insecure UofL fans fear a team theyve beaten 6 out of 7.

Anything can happen. You can be scared in November.

Brohm’s offense doesn’t resemble Petrino’s. Brohm’s biggest coaching influences are Bill Walsh and Howard Schnellenberger. The dudes pedigree is great.

Though you may have a short memory, I did not bring them up.

I'm pretty sure you were conversing with an LPT fan above. I then contributed with a point that they will beat us and Bobby's coaching in those games has shown how he has lost a step to Fatboy in Lex.

Just in case you did not want to go back and read, I thought I would remind you kind sir.

You detailed each game since 2014.

The games were close because;

2 straight years, SuCkS was 5-6 trying to make a bowl game. Cards won both.
No one takes their decrepit, fake SEC team serously. I dont.

Im focused on FSU.
I dont care how bad this team is, EFFIN COMPETE :mad:

SuCkS football is a joke.

So, we’re just going to act like Brohm was not Petrino’s assistant at Louisville and WKU, and likely didn’t learn anything from him? We all share the fire Petrino mantra. We don’t need to see anymore for all of us to agree he’s not performing his job well. Brohm to Louisville, I’m not there. Not sure I’ll get there. He and Bobby are so intertwined. I’m done with it.

Bobby more than surpassed John L , who he coached under 1 yr.
Brohm will be a combination of Coach Schnellenberger and Petrino.

Biggest thing is, since this is his alma mater, and probable dream job, he wont get poached.

i agree, this crap is unacceptable. i feel like my move if i were tyra would be to sit bobby down and tell him that either he scraps this crap read option offense, or hes gone at year's end.

IF Petrino is back next season, I won't be renewing my season tickets period. Why you ask? Cause I don't want to have to sit and watch players who either doesn't care or who'll quit like I saw today. Kneeling @ the 1 after a fair catch is unacceptable.

I don’t see the issue with having been an assistant under Petrino. During his time as QB coach under Petrino, Bobby was an innovative, ultra-driven, perfectionist coach. I’m sure Brohm learned a lot from his tutelage. Unfortunately Bobby seems to have not evolved as a coach, has hired poorly and lacks the desire for perfection that he used to demand.

I don’t mind coaches coming and going. Nature of the business. The point is moot, however. Until BP moves on involuntarily or otherwise, next coach debate is a waste of time. I’m so anti BP right now, I want the program cleansed. The stench remains with a former assistant of his running the program. Not Brohm’s fault, but I want to move on from all things Petrino.

I think there is very little serious talent and speed now in the program. I also think Petrino no longer has any control of the players or the assistant coaches. He is going through the motions now and that flows down to the rest of the team. Its a 9-5 job for him at this point and just a pay check. Anyone can see there is zero discipline and organization. For the players it's party time and they have no clue what it takes to win in college football. It might actually be Kragthorpe 2.0 now.

Not sure about the rest of your post, but I agree with your first sentence.
 
One of the issues I see now with Bobby is that he’s too involved in the offense and he’s not focusing on the entire team. I think the defensive effort was overall good today had we just been able to score some points. Having a good OC and QB coach (more experience) would help, but not sure what changes could be made internally with this staff.

Lawrence is the man! I agree with McCammon as well. That's also very Kragthorpian. All we ever heard was how fast all the recruits were then it never showed on the field. "Speed City" is now "drop city" under Galloway and CBP.

Hats off to Kupper for having the balls to say the truth. He will probably be fired over it. It is so obvious that this is a total sh*t show that Petrino is presiding over. Everybody who is a fan of the program should speak out. What Petrino is doing to our program is a complete disgrace

Because fans are paying the bills while Petrino and his staff are getting rich. The players have no clue about what they should be doing and are happy to be having party time while living the life of luxury with the facilities the fans built. Every fan of U of L should be pissed.

The first sentence is BS because we have more speed and talent then in the past, which is why people are scratching their heads. We have three yes three 4* QBs and we have talent throughout the receiver corps. I can go on. And there mostly big and quick.

Nope talent isn’t the issue. Coaching is!

My ass we do. Dude, you are falling for the hype and propaganda. Our talent isn't much better than WKU which is sad. Our receivers can't get separation from Indiana State and couldn't catch the ball even if they could. I am sick of this bull crap about how talented we are which is based on nothing.

Do you not follow recruiting. Propaganda? Our players aren’t getting separation because their just about overlapping each other. And plain oh poor coaching. Have you looked and there sprint numbers? How about their size? Not to mention where are recruiting classes have been. Are issues are with coaching. Propaganda. Lol. I guess Rivals and the other sites are conspiring against us and rate our classes way higher than WKU just to screw with us. Lol
