I liked Sean McCormack I had hoped that he had a new chance with the new coaches.

I think he felt he was close to earning a scholly under Petrino but would have had to basically start over with the new coaching staff. I can’t blame him for going where he can get a scholly, and I can’t blame the coaching staff for having other priorities since we don’t have many available schollies this class.
I spoke to one of our current receivers today and he said McCormick was the best QB on our roster. That same player had just come out of the players meeting with the new staff and said he and the rest of the team are totally pumped up over the new staff and HCSS.
He just announced he's transferring to Western Kentucky. Best of Luck!
Maybe they did. I don't know and no one "in the know" has talked about it.
Maybe WKU had a scholly to offer.
The story is told that he had a meeting scheduled with the staff and when he arrived no one was prepared to meet with him. The coach he spoke with shared that he wasn't aware of the meeting and had not seen any film. The young man was disappointed and moved on.
Yeh, it disappointed me. It was during the early part of the transition and sometimes mistakes happen.
Wish him the very best. Good kid from a good family. He was caught in the middle of a tough situation and made the best decision for his future. He will be fine.
