When Kyle Bolin led that drive, I believed I was watching Bobby Petrino football again. They had a balance of run and pass with the running plays out of the I going right up the middle. That was fun to watch.
I agree with the OP. I thought the same thing. I know the D played bad, but if the Offense could sustain drives and keep them off the field longer the results will be much better. I don't see how Petrino doesn't settle on Bolin and stick with it. He should have taken the first snap vs Auburn and things might be different this morning.
Kyle was quite impressive. Hard to see why he didn't win the starting job coming out of camp. Don't give up on Lamar though, the guy has some major skills. He was the best player on the field in Atlanta and he has in arm that can throw it 90 yards in the air. The guys going to be a stud so don't get down. But I think Kyle won that job today and I am not sure he gives it back this year. I am sure we will come up with some series for Lamar. Got to keep him here.I also felt the same way! I like Bolin...always have! Clemson is going to kill us in our OWN house unless there is a quick turn around with our defense!
I agree BWT. What difference does it make how far he can throw the ball if he can't control where he's throwing it? His lack of accuracy reminds me of my golf game.
