That old man needs to just quit 'working'. His voice screeches worse than listening to nails on a chalk board. I get annoyed at the repeated stories, but I watch a lot of college basketball. I like Vitale's passion, even if he's a little over the top. My skin does crawl at the term "diaper dandies" however.

They all do it. I watch a lot of college games and announcers are talking about other things than the game they are calling. Vitale is always going to sing praises for everyone. That's what he does.

You are so right. The two were announcing a game and Dizzy was watching a couple in stands and he said to PeeWee, "PeeWee, he kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls". There was not another sound for about 10 seconds.
