Am I supposed to pay more for pizza so that pizza workers are better off?...
I think this is aimed more at college ADs. Teaching them to wait until success is reached before renewing contracts of unproven coaches.I wonder if the research will include the long-term economics of suppressing the pay and benefits of workers at fast food restaurants to maximize short-term profits for owners and shareholders?
But we forget their stupidity and ignorance and you can COUNT on their faithful to continue those rants.
GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!
I believe there are jobs and then there are careers. Making pizza is a stepping stone job that could lead to a career if you stick with it and move UP in to management. THEN it starts to be a career. Not a job. Jobs are easy to get. A career requires more dedication, education, and determination.
People whining about making minimum wage for making pizza just want things handed to them. That JOB was never intended to support a family.
Regarding UofK fans making fun of Papa John's, I was under the impression they were boycotting Papa John's, and anything else they feel makes light of anything UofK and anything which supports UofL. Anything from fast food, to newspaper writers to radio stations. When did that stop?
Slaves don't get wages. Slaves can't offer their services to someone else. Its not a matter of being lazy. The bootstraps are there for everyone to use. For the government to use force to compel someone to pay someone else more than that are worth is immoral. It is a simple law of economics that the more something costs, the less demand for it. Fewer entry level jobs means more poverty. Compassionate leftist, right? You tell em Cue. Bunch of lazy slackers just need to pull themselves
up by their proverbial "boot straps" and just work harder like you no doubt have. You're a true American success story. Those lazy slugs just need to work harder. These family supporting careers are out there a dime a dozen.
Papa pays the slave wages and the taxpayers pick up the slack when the bums invariably have to go on govt assistance to "support their family." Of course compassionate conservative (Christian too I bet?) could just say these people and their families are just SOL.
