Just unbelievable the progression Russ made throughout his time at UofL.

A guy that couldn't get off the bench as a Freshman to a 2 time All American.

Just went and checked out some Russ highlights on YouTube. Huge game today against a really decent Notre Dame team and our team has to be juiced up with Russ in the House.

Just think in today’s environment Russ probably hits the portal. Russes progress is an example of why I loved college sports.
I had season tickets when Russ a freshman. First time he hit the court I looked at my buddy and said that kid plays like a rat on speed.
Russ has one heck of a personality and I’m certainly glad he hung in and now to see his number retired is awesome.
