Great effort

Yep....lol. 36 years. Unbelievable.

On a sadder note, the game ball was awarded to offensive line coach John Schlarmann, who has built a really nice O line. He has now lost sixty pounds in a fight against cancer, and still goes on with his team to coach his players.

Bill always has been one of the classier UK fans who visits here. I too will pray for coach John Schlarmann. If I had one wish that could come true, I would wish for cancer to get cancer and lose the battle. How wonderful would it be to see that horrible disease eradicated??

I know what you guys mean. Dad passed away twenty two years ago now. Quit smoking for 25 years then got lung cancer. I'm still dealing with that all this time later.

Three weeks ago we learned my wife's sister in law ( co-sister for me?) Has had a relapse of cancer she's been in remission on for 8, 9 years....plus a different type. Also scirosis of the liver (non drinker)....she's 51, 52..... awful young.

Life's short, sometime unfair.

Cancer is a monster.
