That didn't take long did it?

Now that Coach K is out for the season, he doesn't have to take the brunt of the criticism for bringing this spoiled child back out onto the court.

Should be interesting to see if this "suspension" cured him of him of his tantrums.

Actually this is K's last game on the bench for a while. It seems as though he's letting Capel do most of the coaching though.

That'll teach him.

Most likely Grayson won't trip anyone again this year, however he will now know he has a Dukie License to continue being a punk.

Read ya loud and clear Coach K.;)

The ACC should step in and place the kid back on suspension. Sitting out 1 game isn't going to teach him a damn thing. Allen needs anger management help, and his coach failed him. Now the ACC needs to make it right for the kids sake.

Trip Allen is fine until someone takes it at him on the court again. One game indefinite suspension.

That'll teach him.

He wouldn't have suspended him at all if not for the internet backlash.

He knew with his personal surgery coming up he could put him back on the court and dodge scrutiny.

Coach K's image takes a hit, he will still be idolized by national media types but he is a joke.

I knew that he'd be back for our game on Jan. 14th, but I didn't expect him to only miss 1 game. Duke and coach K are a joke.

I want to beat him up and stick his head in a trash can.

What will your players do if Allen trip one of them again this year?

It depends on the player.

Johnson made it clear last year he is willing to waste Allen if necessary. Mathiang could potentially blow his stack. Allen probably doesn't want to mess with Hicks either.

The rest of the team is pretty mild mannered.

I'm glad he's gonna play against us. I'd like to see a little self policing out on court if you all know what I mean. I'd tell my bigs to put him in the cheap seats the first time he drove down the lane.

This is why I like hockey. A punk like this would get taken down by a goon from the other team. I love the NHL for allowing fighting. It lets the players police the game. It works!

The thug did it AGAIN last night against Boston College. The ACC claims they can't be sure so no further action will be taken, but it's obvious to anyone who wants to see it. What he did is NOT a basketball move in any way. People don't fight thru screens like this:

What a thug punk this guy is. I HOPE someone gives him an attitude adjustment the only place it's going to come from. The court. Enough is enough.

Greenberg said he lost his balance lol. Capel said it was a natural motion come on now

Can not wait till he tries to trip in in the nba some one will light him up

The problem with retaliation is it takes the negative attention off of Allen and puts it on the player that attacks him.
Sure, Allen would be suspended, but so would one of your guys. Then you are misding a key player for your next game. It's just not worth it.

Refresh my memory! Didn't Pitino suspend Chris Jones for his fake elbow reaction during the UK game?

Allen trips someone on purpose = 1 game suspension
Allen trips someone on purpose the second time= 3 game suspension
Allen trips someone on purpose the 3rd then proceeds to throw a fit on the bench= Serious problems.

The ACC should of handled this issue. I hope you kill him this Saturday. Good luck!

From the players' POV, they may look at it like the ACC won't police this guy so the players may have to start doing it themselves for their own safety.

What would really be funny is if all the players on every team got together and decided to boycott playing in Duke games until Allen is removed. They can't feel safe out there. It is a huge risk to play against Duke. As we've seen with the concussions UofL players have suffered this season by unintentional contact.
