Below is a great read about Saturday's game. I haven't read much in regards to the atmosphere at the game Saturday, but the quote below certainly seems to sum it up.

What changed my heart was the stadium atmosphere on Saturday. I attended the game with my family and what I saw there made me sick to my stomach. As the Louisville Cardinals climbed back from a 24-7 deficit and dominated the second half of football, I watched the Kentucky crowd slowly retreat in shame and the pro-Louisville crowd became louder. It got to a point where it felt and sounded like a Cardinal home game in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

I have been to plenty of Kentucky football and basketball games and I have never seen a visiting crowd take over our home in that manner. And Wildcat fans weren't even angry. There wasn't bickering. There weren't any attempts to drown them out. We simply just took it. Our heart had been ripped out and there was no fight left in us. Much like there wasn't any fight from our team on the field. It was surreal.

As I left the stadium, there wasn't anger amongst the blue fans, there was a sense of acceptance. This is Kentucky football. This is who we are. We bought into the hype. We sold out the early games. We were "All In." We did our part. And for that, we were punched in the gut by the slimiest head coach in college football for the second year in a row.

James Streble calls himself an author for the Sea of Blue. That in itself is pretty funny and very inaccurate. He's not any type of author. He's not even a sports writer. He's a blogger who is opinionated and adds little of value. I'm happy he has accepted what Kentucky football is. A doormat, just like his blogging.

The last sentence is ridiculous and over the top. Incredibly judgemental and just not necessary.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Their flaming hypocrites. If it came out today, that cow or saban cheated on their wives,
would the fans demand they be fired? Would the AD or administration fire them ?

Cow is rumored to to have "known' his wife, while she was still married. Who cares.

Sounds like the A-hole that wrote that piece wanted his fellow UK fans to start a fight with Cards fans. Apparently he was too chicken sh!t to do so himself.

So their fans behaved themselves for once and he has issues with that. Idiot.

What's slimy is getting a jab at a coach who owns you outright. Be a sportsman. Also, for what it's worth, I like the new Bobby. When the going got tough this year some of our own fans lamented the old Bobby, but what I see in CBP2 is a better man, a better leader who doesn't terrorize players, who cares about player development and academics, and who seems to be demonstrating a real heartfelt desire to be a better person AND a very good coach. So, we'll see. I'm not headlong 24x7 Petrino is great but OTOH I have accepted the initial premise of the hire that TJ laid out as having at least some basis. At which point, I'll defend our coach. The best is yet ahead. P.S. I will concede that any fan of U of K athletics qualifies to comment on sliminess ...like that debacle at PJCS last year...so classy...so high road. Right.
