Good luck seems to elude the Cards

MSU won the game but they sure got one lucky break right there at the end when Dawson made that putback on the missed shot. That ball bounced right to him like a pass. Just the contrary to the Cards when every time we seemed to get the rebound were stripped by MSU. I mean does any Cards fan ever believe they would see the Cards win a game on a lucky bounce of the ball?

Well, there was a lot to complain about in this game to where that basket wouldn't have meant a thing. The Cards missed FT's was the killer. Other than Wayne, we blew the game at the free throw line. Now it's time to pull for the Wisconsin Badgers as if they were the Cards. Man I would be willing to give a months pay to see them lose on a bad luck play at the end of the game or by a terrible whistle. It will probably be the opposite.

Well to be fair the four seeded cards didn't play anybody seeded above them and had a chance to get to the final four. The last free throw in regulation play looked pretty darn lucky also.

Well to be fair, why dont you take a hike sucks fan.

Of course we're Badger fans, Numbers. But you need to get over this concern about LPT. You need to turn them into a form of entertainment. They're for you to belittle, disrespect, degrade, and dehumanize. If you can't reduce them to the insignificant nothings they are, you're going to have problems.

And make sure you're omnipresent and relentless. You get rewarded with more LPT hate than you can keep track of.

I know man! Hampton, Cincy and WVa was a much harder road.

Thanks Gomer for your incredible insight into college basketball. I'm going to text Calipari-Wesley my cell number this week so he can call me about when to call time out against Wisconsin.

Dawson got that put back because Mango didn't locate Dawson and block out! He watched the flight of the ball and didn't move until it hit the rim. That's not bad luck, that's mediocre talent and basketball IQ. We had a very good year, Pitino did an unbelievable job, but he's got to do a better job recruiting. We really had no business challenging for a Final Four birth relying on Mango, Gill, C.O., etc.

I agree that was on Mango. But another thing i thought on the final offensive set in regulation Rozier should have been the one at the free throw line. He was clearly fouled by the Mich ST. guard on the drive to the basket but got no call and then Mango gets fouled on the put back. If that would have been one of the twins for UK they would have called a foul for sure and 2 free throws. Am I wrong on this does anyone else think Rozier got fouled?

Just saw the replay, my apologies to Mango. He blocked out on the other side of the rim. Someone else needed to put a body on Dawson!

BrewCrew I agree Rozier was definitely fouled with upper body but no call! Rozier did he get any call other than the one layup where he was stole the ball?

The ball came right off the rim right to Dawson. Good luck would have had the ball bounce the other way. Mangok got lucky when he made the one FT, but really good luck it would have gave us the lead. MSU also had no buisness playing for the final 4 but they were luckier at the end of the game. And of course the most good fortune they had was the refs continued refusal to call fouls when Rozier drove to the hoop.

Not only does it seem to elude us, it seems to shine on Kentucky (like it did in the mid-late '90s). It is the worst of both worlds!

What about Wayne's nose bleed? How freakin' unlucky was that?! The guy is going off and his nose starts bleeding! Unlucky!

What again has been shining on whom?
