I hate losing to those bastards. More home cookin' than at Cracker Barrel.
But a good game. In a tough environment. I think we learn from this and get better.
Looking at the schedule, I think there are some long weeks buried in here that will tell the tale of just how far we can go this year. There will be time for serious practice, to improve the little things, and have Mack systems fully in place (theoretically). 5 games at home .. 19 days off.

12 - 29 - Kentucky

1-6 - Miami
Have we ever had that much time before playing Kentucky? I know they have. But it seems like we always play a game 2 or 3 days before we play them. Anyway .... I hope to see improvement in the team in this time, as they will have unlimited practice time, at least during the 8 day break before Kentucky ... and maybe they can really fine tune things. All it takes are a couple of lapses, and you lose a close one. As happened today on some defensive switches.
But I am very encouraged by the play of this squad. And I expect them to continue to improve going forward.
