This is a family show !
A couple of desperate teams in Columbia tonight. SCar has a brutal schedule, playing Alabama, Clemson, Georgia. Florida and Texas A&M and having already lost to North Carolina. The UK game is a must win for SCar in terms of bowl eligibiiity.
UK’s schedule is more forgiving, but at 0-2 in conference already and with teams like Arkansas, Missouri and Louisville trending upward, the margin for bowl eligibility is shrinking, even with 8 home games.

I was flipping back and forth between their game and FSU-NCSt last night, but I did see their score with 2:28 to go in the game. I absolutely could not believe it when they went for the PAT kick down 24-6. Didn’t anybody on that sideline know that you needed to make the 2pt conversion to be down 16 at that point? You then recover 2 onside kicks, score 2 TDs and convert 2 more 2pt conversions to tie the game....
Obviously, that’s a lot to ask, so after they successfully completed the PAT kick to make the score 24-7, I thought “ok, they basically have already conceded the loss, so that’s why they just kicked the PAT.” But then Stoops blows my mind by going out there and attempting the onside kick!
Sort of made me think that they won 10 games last year by accident.

It’s called poor coaching, very poor coaching. And last year was the result of two players (actually three). Two of whom have moved on to the NFL and the third (unfortunately) to injury. The only real sure victory remaining on their schedule is UTMartin. Oh no, I’m not saying that they won’t win other games but ALL of them are in question now. And, yes, that includes Vandy, UT, Arky and, of course, THE UofL. Both Missouri and UGA will bury the cayuts. They won a couple of games last year on shear luck. Missouri comes to mind for sure.
