why wouldn’t this guy at least get an interview? He had a pretty decent overall record but couldn’t contend with Alabama. Who can? Could be successful in the ACC?

Think he went something like 5-26 at Iowa State. He’s probably enjoying spending his Saturdays behind a desk on the SECN.
Iowa State was before he went to Auburn. I guess they thought he was a bum so they signed him to a 2 million dollar contract.
Who’s this Gene Chisnik guy you’re talking about? I googled the name but google asked me “do you mean Gene Chizik?”
By the way, Chizik was the coach of an auburn team that paid to lure Cam Newton to win them a national championship. I’ll pass
