We controlled the whole game which is a stark contrast to last years matchup.

Continue to be impressed with our tackling and defensive discipline. We do a great job of scraping along the line of scrimmage and filling holes. And then tackling with authority.

Was impressed with Malik’s command of the game. Having such a strong running game is so important.

Malik’s lack of arm strength limits his ceiling. I think that’s why Puma is 1st string.

The play action post route for a touchdown by Conley was an awesome playcall. Great call Satt.

Didn’t like how we lost our focus in 3rd Q. The fumble in the option was a really bad decision by Malik. We didn’t get great pressure on their QB later in the game.

I think we are gonna struggle with strong passing teams. WKU’s wise receivers are not good and they bailed us out several times.

Nice win but definitely clunky in the 2nd half.

This program needs wins any way they can get them.

Hawkins looks good. The Cards have a few play makers and it looks like they are going to make some plays this year.

Will be interesting to see how they play on the road - that secondary is going to be tested.
