"Z" was named Kansas Girls High School Player of the Year. She's part of the incoming class. Congratulations to her!

What coach is recruiting in Kansas, Verhulst and Z are both from Kansas. We also had a another high school underclass guard from Kansas we hope to get in a couple of years.

There's also another Verhulst on the horizon out at Bishop Miege. Freshman Kirsten Verhulst had 21 points in the Stags most recent win in the Kansas Girls State Championship.

Do your research. Payton was POY in Kansas and played on Team USA. She plays behind Emily and Jeff is bringing her along at a smart pace.

Payton was also voted most valuable player on the USA National team that won the gold medal. She was voted female athlete of the year last year. Her game is well rounded she’ll be a star at Louisville.

It is a huge leap from HS ago College in the Women’s game; unlike the Men’s game where the extensive AAU schedules prepare true freshmen to compete immediately.
