Many Card fans miss the tradition and history of Freedom Hall as well as the great memories. I was fortunate enough to go to an event there last night. The Hall was packed and rocking with energetic and enthusiastic folks. It reminded me of the atmosphere after winning a big game or a national championship celebration. Hopefully more fantastic events will be held there!

I have some great memories of Freedom Hall from grade school all the way to adulthood. I saw some of the greatest players to ever play the game play in Freedom Hall. However, once they put all that blue in there I will never step foot in there again.
Looked more like a rupp crowd from the 70s - lol.
Did the circus come to town or something? What events are they holding at Freedom Hall these days?
I think it was a combination cow patty throwing and competitive manure eating contest.
Many great memories from Freedom Hall. But, it's the past and the state is letting it slowly deteriorate. Time to move on.
Wish they'd move this clown's "rally" to Rupp. What a joke, disgraceful to Freedom Hall.
Honored to have our Leader at freedom hall. Saw on the local news that there were 19000 there. I bet it was rockin!
On a side note, we should have used Rupp as the "safe space" for the liberals being offended by him being in town. Have you seen liberals these days??Rupp would have been torn to pieces with graffiti, busted windows, looting, and violence. People wearing face masks, men dressed as women, and people wearing vagina costumes would have turned Rupp upside down. What better way to stick it to Lexington?

Freedom Hall is a great iconic venue. The importance of the Commonwealth was honored and highlighted by our Commander in Chief.

Lifelong Kentuckian here. I agree about Freedom Hall - loved it and think it's a shame that it is going the way of Louisville Gardens.
That said, your second statement is demonstrably false.
Amazed at the negativity some people will throw at our president, our leader. I would have loved to be there and I didn't even vote for him.

I'm pretty sure that we already have a "diplomatic relationship" with Russia. We also have an understanding of what sort of person Putin is which is why the relationship is not better.

What the man is referencing to is a young girl (14) who was raped by two immigrants, one is a known illegal and the others legal status is not confirmed yet. They are both freshman and are 17 and 18 and neither speak much English so they were allowed into the school to start as freshman. The one was stopped at the border under the Obama Admin but was let in and was supposed to appear in a court at some point and never did. These two are the confirmed suspects based on blood and semen samples in the bathroom and stall of the locker room.

The rape of any person is horrible and appalling and the perpetrators need to be held accountable. To use that as a basis for support of the murderous Putin regime is astonishly pitiful. If you are pro-Putin then maybe you should do a little further research on him.
I'm going to guess that CNN (and other outlets not named fox or breitbart) has been focused on covering the respective congressional testimonies of the FBI director and the nominee for SCOTUS. Two stories that are just a little more important to the country than an alleged rape committed by two juveniles - regardless of their immigration status. Fox's coverage of this event as a major one is akin to trump's ridiculous tweets that are simply an attempt to divert attention from the brewing scandal that is his administration. Or as tluck calls it - "it goes against the agenda".

The emails were incredibly stupid and the fact that Clinton was exposed was her own fault. Donald J. Trump fixed the Flint water crisis and is addressing illegal immigration and the crime and drug dealing problems as well as the health care mess caused by Obama.
I am not necessarily Pro Putin. I would like to get along with them and feel that they were on the right side of the tracks in regards Syria unlike us. Lesser of two evils I suppose
I do think the poster was using this example to support our current Commander's immigration policy. I believe that he was using Putin as an example because he would never have allowed what has gone on in our country in the past, in regards to immigration.
Putin has many faults and I do not like him as a whole..but he is a strong leader and people respect him and anyone that comes there or is allowed there, respects the fact that they are allowed there. Foreigners do not walk around with entitlements. And before anyone uses the argument that people do not immigrate there because I hear this all the time....don't kid yourself, with your narrow minded view of the world. Americans are not jumping fences to go there but according to UN Population Division estimates, as of 2013, the Russian Federation was second only to the United States in the sheer number of immigrants. You seem confused. The emails that negatively affected Clinton's campaign were from her surrogates - not her. The issue of her setting up a private server was Clinton's however it was based upon some precedent that had been established by previous SOSs. That said - both of those situations have been decided and Clinton is off of the national stage, so there is no real reason to discuss it - other than in an attempt to deflect from the serious issues surrounding the trump administration.
Please explain your understanding of how trump "fixed the Flint water crisis". After going to Flint, he promised 100 million to replace the pipes - money that has not been received and a solution that will take decades to be achieved. In the meantime he has proposed slashing the EPA budget by a 1/3 - which will make it tougher for them to monitor situations like this.
His immigration 'solutions' have been D.O.A. and are unable to pass judicial review, crime and drug dealing rates have not dropped, and trumpcare will most likely not make it out of the House as not enough republicans will support it. If it does, it will go nowhere in the Senate. An extremely disappointing first 60 days for the American people.
