I never said "you, the fan"...so not sure how you can quote me there...I did say "us" because I associate myself with the University that I graduated from and include myself as part of UofL family...you are correct, though, that this article says a lot about UK's culture of its fans; you're delusional d bags. Now saying this is completely useless, as you are unable to self-assess (the nature of being delusional and all); but if you're going to "quote" me...please "quote" me..."OK?"

It's all mud slinging. The author uses other people's articles as mud to produce his own mud slinging No evidence from any impartial fact finding. No evidence to support the authors claims except from accusers. The author explains this void of proof as a massive cover up of anyone living in Louisville.

The sad part is the author is pretty talented writer, but ruins this talent with sensationalism and fantasy just like many lazy bloggers. If there really is so much improper behavior at UofL it wouldnt take much effort to uncover and prove the transgressions. Of course this would take actual work and require the writer to leave the house.

Here is one way to tell that this piece is hack-journalism at its finest (or worst).

"It is the worst kept secret in the world that Tom Jurich has absolute control over the Louisville media. You will never see a UL media member go at Tom or his program with any real teeth; this is by design or fear."

If the above statement were true, the CJ would not be covering the story the way they have been, nor would they be running the story about Pitino's "distant past posing new problems."

The story author is just being a complete hate-filled dick and recycling garbage he heard from others.

Having Forde's name in the link threw me as well. I searched the article to see if Forde wrote any part of it or is quoted in it. He did not write any of it, nor is he quoted in it. He is mentioned in the article in an uncomplimentary way.

I think the author has Forde in the url to draw attention to his article because the author is just a self-promoting and hate filled dick with no integrity. The purpose of this article is to stir up his audience and give them more anti-UofL talking points so this story will perpetuate. If enough people talk about it, others will eventually think it must be true. Then, when the story runs its course, they come back to him for more trash to blab about.
