The trending is what is important, UK is trending up, UL down. As UKErik said, the series seems to be going in chunks of four, UL four straight, UK four straight, UL four straight (thanks to hurtt and jurich willing to do anything to win), now it is UK's turn.

And I doubt very much if UL ever comes close to winning four straight against UK ever again. I think UK is fortunate to have UL as our Big 5 OOC foe in the long run.

I don't really care if we were "even matched".....We still lost to Petrino, which is what we usually do....

Seriously, it is pathetic that UK, the state school, struggles to play "evenly matched" with the city school of UL. It is so freakin' pathetic it makes me sick.

I am so tired of playing second fiddle to a city school like UL and WKU when UK should have always been the dominant football power in the state.

I am sick of the excuses every single year.

I just do not see how that UofL doesn't take a big step back this season with all of the players that they lost to graduation and early entry into the NFL. The loss of Parker alone was huge.

UK played them pretty much even on their home field and was a dropped interception by McWilson from likely beating them. I just do not think UofL will have enough of the shady transfers and JUCOs to compensate for their losses

IMO UK will beat the Cards this season. It is however a crap shoot picking the winner of the last game of the season when so much can happen in the first eleven games injuries and just plain weariness from a long schedule . IMO depth is going to be big in this game and IMO UK has more quality depth than UofL. I do know the Birdies will be in a den of win hungary Cats that are looking to defeather them and roast them on a spit.

Getting back to the topic, which is UK vs UL next season, I'm picking UK. All of lulzville's good players are gone, and they get one good player for the defensive line. Sorry, not buying that they're going to be incredible when they lose a ton of their offensive production, and even more of their defensive playmakers. They added one. For their sake, hopefully no more domestic issues or gun violence issues come up, or that could sting them pretty badly.
Add in the offensive line that UK has built, and is continuing to build out of quality players who have really big bodies, as well as a ton of very good playmakers. I just expect UK to win. The team has improved all around since the end of last season, despite losing the players that we lost.
I don't see a scenario where Louisville improves after losing as much experience and production that they lost, with only one legit replacement for a defensive end.

You "C'mon dude" and get ready for what is coming. UL was very lucky to win last year, a dropped EASY INT away from losing. UL lost a lot, UK has a lot coming back, game is at home for UK....UK may already have 6 wins by the time the two play this year, and will win by 10.

I'll post something that is sure to be controversial to the UL fans that live here, but I assure you I'm not just trolling.

I believe UL has a losing season this year. Seriously, I do.

They just lost too much talent last season. Not too mention they are still in transition from a defensive lead team built by Strong (questionably I might add) to the offensive powerhouse they are sure to be under Petrino.

Plus they are playing a real schedule now.

But the big thing that will contribute to a losing campaign is their woeful offensive line. Even the UL fans (as brainwashed as they are) have said they are very nervous about the play of the offensive line. Unless there is a major overhaul there, UL is headed for a 4-5 win campaign.

Petrino took over a team that had been solid and went to a bowl game. Stoops took over a program with Sunbelt level talent and a first year QB.

I can't wait to put the Petrino slurpers on here and the UL fans in their place this year. UK is gonna wipe that smile off of the entire Cardinal fanbase in November.




With our luck this will get them fired up for next week and they'll switch to Jackson the mobile QB who will torch us

I got in that thread about halfway through - it was intriguing. Then, as time went on, I missed a banning by inches, lol. I like the new freedom in both sites, refreshed older trolls and whatnot, ha ha.

Cuing up C1180 is always sort of like a pity party.

The smarter and better posters were restrained in their responses but always unable to hold back on their deepest prejudices. The delusion of some crime wave of a program which graduated 94 of 97 recruits, compared to their own - much less almost anyone else - always had me reading with shock as a partner. How can such lameass stereotypes perpetuate?

This hilarious uk thread and the one i saved from last May as well and posted the other day is why I really feel ( for Me anyway ) that this is The Most Satisfying win over uk since the series resumed. Living here in Lex I bit my tongue more than once and kept my mouth shut while aquaintances spewed all that bigger faster stronger garbage this summer and preseason. Funny how virtually None of them have responded to the One Word text I sent out After the game..."Yahtzee".....

You're really comparing healthcare in Vancouver with healthcare in Kentucky and picking Kentucky?????? Most major cities in the U.S. have high hotel taxes.
