After witnessing what’s happened to Lexington, you feeling any different about the process Josh had?

I think what people should be more open minded to is the reality that coaching hires in today’s world are nothing like they were 10-15 years ago.
The playing fields have been leveled and the next generation of great coaches are valuing comfort and familiarity much higher than the old school guys did.
Regardless of what anyone says today, Pope wasn’t in the top 8. Nets were casted pretty wide, and a lot of guys got behind the scenes inquiries through agents. No big time guys wanted that job. Most of the up and comers didn’t either. Speaks volumes honestly.
We got a high level coach. Time will tell if Pope becomes one.
