With the Wildcats loss last night in Knoxville, the Cats are now 1-6 in the SEC and 3-6 overall. Their remaining schedule is:

Murray State
@ Texas
Louisville

They'd have to run the table to get to 6 wins which is highly unlikely with the trip to Austin and all that is on the line for the Longhorns. So, more than likely the Cards will be traveling to Lexington to play a UK team with a 4-7 record on their Senior Day with a bowl bid being highly unlikely (some 5-7 teams do get a bid in rare cases). In addition to the malaise over their poor record the UK fanbase will most likely be very unhappy with their head coach who's future with the Cats is murky at best. Will the fans show up? Will the UK football team rally around beating their rival?

One thing we can all hope is different is that the Cards are arriving on a winning streak and not worn down as they have in the recent years. Coach Brohm specifically addressed that issue at the beginning of th season and said it was an area of focus.
