ESPN takes a dig at Louisville

Are you referring to their placement in the rankings or the comment below? I didn't take it as a shot at all. I just interpreted it as them saying a coach will take people doubting their team as a challenge...as motivation. I "get" that they linked the scandal, but I still just see it as explanation as to the challenging circumstances surrounding the program going into the season.

Louisville Cardinals 13.
This seems like the kind of thing that proves challenging to a coach. Just a hunch. -- Brennan

Brought it on ourselves
Sorry bud, you can bend over and take yesterday's news but the writer Brennan should write consistently with all schools. I don't have a problem with reporting that this is still an open issue, but to post an article written last year with a headline saying going to Louisville is like going to a strippers club is not fair reporting. No further analysis was given on the current team.

We get these types of articles written because true honest high integrity unbiased journalism in this country is dead. It's been dead for years. I personally believe it started dying with the invention of the internet. All the extra competition killed true journalism. Now it's more important to be first than to be right.

The four letter network has been the leader in in making this issue more than it is.

since the uk grad has been at espn tom jackson has "retired" and you never see a good story about louisville.
the basketball and rifle academy down the road always has great press, even with a starting forward passed out on a highway, door open, face on pavement drunk.

it is louisville against the world.

I personally do not watch espin unless louisville is on the screen, just as i canceled my louisville urinal subscription with all of the blue articles.
