What gets me about ESPN is how and why they choose certain stories to carry on the air. Largely about ratings.
This morning, ESPN in their college recaps of UNC vs Wake Forrest and Villanova and Seton Hall. There might have been some plays from the WVU vs Texas, but I'm not for sure. WVU was ranked 6th and lost that game. None of the other top 20 teams that played were up against a ranked opponent.
Bottom line, I did not see any highlights from the U of L game. ESPN had U of L ranked 17th and they dominated a strong, though unranked team. ESPN described the Donovan Mitchell dunk as "the best play from yesterday's action" and the "nastiest put back dunk of the season."
Questions: Did ESPN show some highlights later? Why didn't they show U of L game highlights early?
