My most favorite years of being a Cardinal fan are those years you see things coming together, slowly but surely. This is one of those years.

I had a lot of negative thoughts about things off the field in how I viewed my allegiance and fandom of UofL entering this season. I'm moving past that.

Fans who complained about Satterfield for whatever reason better WTFU and realize what is going on here. He is building something.

Whoever hasn't gotten back on board, just do it. You will be happy you did.

I believe it is quite possible that we bring the cup home, but if we think about it, given where this UL program was in contrast to where UK was when Bobby Petrino quit on his team ……. It is truly amazing that we are favored by 3 points.

As for me, if we do indeed beat UK Saturday night, I will forget all about Satterfiel’s dalliance with So Carolina, and he gets my vote as COY.

He better be building a sizable O & D line and depth on said lines......they were consistently pushed around Saturday. That's why most other divisions can't compete with the SEC.....Lines are massive, fast and athletic! Games are won in the trenches!!

Saturday was terrible. On the field, for Satterfield's family, etc...
The game plan was void of anything I expected to see.
I did expect to see UofL struggle in the trenches, but had they spied the QB and not let him run free and crazy it would have been a better game.
70 of the 85 scholarship players are Freshman or Sophmores.
UK is a veteran heavy team.
I didn't enjoy Saturday night, but I don't see any other options other than to hope for a new DC, and continued patience.
