Of course this will dramatically chnge before the 28th ,however as of today this is it. And not that it really matters due to how we always seem to under perform against them.

Sagarin Predictor: Louisville 89.52, Kentucky 88.85

KenPom: Kentucky 67, Louisville 66 (51% win probability)

If those numbers end up being right, I hope we win with a buzzer beater right as Kayut fans are getting ready to celebrate a win. I would love to see that disappointment in real time.

Road games are always tough. And if we are #1, I will be a bit worried. It will be our first real road test as #1 in a place we haven’t won since 2007.

Something about that #1 ranking can wear a team down. Of course I don’t want to lose before that game, but that’s the type of test that gets you ready for March.

Win/loss. Doesn’t matter too much in the grand scheme as it will be a road loss against a top 5 or 10 team. It’s all about getting better for March and not hurting your resume.

But for whatever reason, historically our teams play better down there.
Not saying we've had better teams, just that the teams seem to play better at Rupp.

The Cards could and probably should beat Uk this season. However, history and the overall record at Rupp makes that far from certain.

A few weeks too early to do this but we need to get a thread going on what unexpected player steps up for UK this year and has either the game (one of their best games), play(s) or shot(s) of his career against the Cards (e.g. Hawkins, Humphries, Sparks). The list goes on. Doesn't happen every year but it sure does feel like it.

All that aside, I agree... The Cards go into Rupp and win this year.

Juzang however you spell it and Montgomery .

Yeah, I was thinking Montgomery or Whitney. Sestina was top of my list before he got injured. I could see him going 6 for 6 from 3 or something crazy like that. Kahlil Whitney is my new top pick to have an unexpected big game.

And how fast it takes one of our starters to get 2 fouls? 3.5 minutes is my pick!

WTH two of our starters already have 2 fouls before they get off the bus. It IS coRupt arena after all.:rolleyes:

Coach has these kids in the right mindset regarding that early ranking. He knows it doesn't mean much and has pounded that into their heads. Had they been focused on that ranking, they wouldn't have played as hard as they played against Michigan and Pitt. The ranking is nice but not defining. Not in early December.

Go CARDS!!!
