Duke/Louisville game time

Duke may lose this Saturday to NC State. Their QB is out with injury. The Devils have a tough conference schedule, still having to play the Cards, FSU and UNC.

When it's all said and done, I think we're going to see a 7 and 5 Duke team.

The ACC has struggled over the last decade to assert itself with the SEC and the BIG, watching Clemson dominate the conference. This year has been refreshing, as not just Duke, UNC, FSU and Louisville stepping it up, but NCST, Syracuse and WF are formidable opponents.

If Clemson continues to improve, the ACC has a legitimate opportunity to go into its Thanksgiving weekend series against their respective in-state rivals to win 3 of the four games.

Do you all think ESPN will/would bring College GameDay to Louisville for the Duke game?

Possible but not probable. That weekend lacks many marquee matchups. Oregon at Utah is probably the top rated matchup. Duke plays at FSU the week prior to us.

It’s Monday and the game time hasn’t been announced yet, it’s just said “TBD”.

I wonder when they’ll announce it?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced the following football game times and networks for Week 9, Oct. 26-28.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Colorado vs UCLA has been given the Primetime 7:30 ABC spot that weekend so that’s off the table.

Open spots are:

12pm ABC
2pm CW
3:30pm ABC or ESPN (wherever BYU-Texas doesn't air)
3:30pm ACCN
8pm ACCN

My guess is that the Duke game is 3:30 on ABC

Best time of day for weather would be 3:30. Right now, Hi of 61 is predicted. Slight wind. Rain should have ended. Cloudy. The attendance isn't going to be 59,000. Cool weather is settling in, and even though Duke may be the 2nd best team the Cards will have played to that point, many fans won't see it that way.

3:30 is a great time for the Cards to play Home ball.

Only night window open is 8pm on ACC Network. If Duke loses to FSU this weekend then ACC network becomes more likely.

I’m most definitely not saying that you’re wrong, but why do you think it’ll be more likely that Duke/Louisville will be on ACCN at 8pm if Duke loses to FSU?

I think Clemson vs NC State could get 3:30 ABC spot if Duke is no longer ranked. If Duke vs UofL is two ranked teams going at each then I think it gets 3:30 time slot.

All that being said I have zero special insight into this. Just (semi)educated guesses.

I go with 51,999...we beat Duke... and party like its 1999 ala the Prince hit song. Make it so CJB and Cards team. Score will be 24-19 good guys.
