He has been a controversial figure at times because he is quick to say what is on his mind and isn't afraid to make others uncomfortable. In the case of the UofL postseason ban, I'd like to commend Dr. Jones on the transparency he is providing regarding the case and the perspective he has brought in regards to the subservient relationship schools have towards the NCAA.
From his comments today, I think the most pertinent right now is that there is no "bombshell" that has yet to go off. What we know now appears to be the depth of the scurrilous behavior. All along I think the big concern was that this would go higher up the ladder than McGee.
