Here is what we need to understand.
Dino did the crime, he is the bad guy. But, criticism of Mack in this situation does not mean support of Dino.
It just looks like a B+ player move in my opinion. A manager can't call an employee in and record them and not report it to a superior. He can't say he was doing the right thing and protecting the program, but doing it in a moronic way that did not have protocols.
Mack hired Dino and they had a falling out. They argued and they were heated. They knew each other. Mack hired the guy and it's his program. He records him and then lets all this stuff come out like an idiot. This could have been handled BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. Get lawyers involved and sign NDA's. We can't afford bad press and it seems Mack made an impulsive move.
Dino was in the wrong, but when you're paid the $$$ Mack is paid to coach at a place like this that's already under the microscope, you're expected to handle things better.
