Wow that second game between either ok. State or Michigan is gonna be tough
THAT is as about a good a draw as we could have hoped for. Certainly "do-able" IF we are playing well.
If we can make it past the Michigan/OK St matchup, I think we are going all the way to the final 4. This is where the schedule helps out alot because you play these type games every night.
Don't forget about JSU. We don't want to be michigan st of last year. I also think Oregon will lose to creighton if they end up meeting because of that injury to one of their top players. Going through JSU, Michigan, and Creighton would not be the toughest road to the elite 8.
I am sure Michigan would love to get a little revenge on UofL, after UofL beat them, in the NCAA Championship game.
And Okie State is no picnic either. The Cowboys play everyone tough and have road wins at West Virginia and Wichita State, where they blew out the Shockers. Brad Underwood is a rising star coach.
I still like our chances but it will be a test against either one.
The Cards open against Ray Harper's team. That won't be easy (I don't think), then if the Cards win the 2-15 match up game, they'll have the winner of Michigan - OK State on a quick turnaround.
IF the Cards can get to the sweet sixteen then they'll have a great shot at making it to the final four.

There's a real easy solution for you to follow if it really bothers you that the SEC is disrespected so much on this board. LEAVE. If you do that you won't have to be concerned about how most people who post on this board feel about the SEC and you won't look like a total tool complaining about it. I wasn't whining. I was just pointing out how Kerry let's the sec sucking bother him when it shouldn't matter. If the ACC sucks in a sport it has literally zero effect on me because I'm not a fan of any of those schools. It's consumed him.
You should kind of expect to have shade thrown at your pathetic conference when you come on our board @ThroughBlue. Not sure why you're so shocked by this, I mean look at the the vitriol spewed on Raftards...
I understand shade. Hell, I throw shade at our conference. Some posters just seem to take offense to the SEC being awful like it's hurting them personally. I enjoy posting here and soaking in as many different perspectives as I can. That's what makes this country great!

RR is a very heavily populated board which means a lot of idiot posters and trolls

This board is less populated with idiot posters. That much is true. Kind of wish there was one less idiot posting here, but the real cool thing is there's this option called 'ignore' on all Rivals.com sites. If you click on that persons moniker you can see that option. Choose that option and POOF, that idiot poster just disappears.
You could do that and remove the majority of issues you seem to have with the RR board, and then you could stay home where you are more wanted. It's just a thought, and you can do whatever you want. The thing is, so can I.

You are a fan of a top shelf program in the sport you shouldn't feel so insecure about a Kentucky fan throwing his two cents in every now and then. Especially since I normally only post in Kentucky/SEC themed threads. Maybe that's why I post so much? Just a thought
I'll take a stab - I happen to like the conversation here. Most of the Card fans on this board are partisan but reasonable. There are exceptions of course but I find them to be rare. I appreciate the fact that basketball is a passion for you folks, but not all encompassing like it is for a lot of the posters on other sites. I think that I could sit down and enjoy a bourbon with the majority of you guys and not end up in an argument
Purdue won't get past the first weekend...Since 2010, they are something like 1-5 in the tournament...That means they've gotten past the first weekend only ONCE in their last six tourney appearances!!!

No need to eat crow...I'm going by current historical data...That data shows me that Purdue has gotten out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tourney approx. 17% in that time period...Thus, I'm playing and betting those %!!!
