...said no to the CARDS four years ago, we then turned to another recruit named Montrezl. :)

Willis has had his issues but I'm proud of the kid and proud he chose the wildcats. He's helped more than what people give him. He's got the skill set to play overseas. His defense just never came together. Not a very quick first step and not big enough to bang down low. Almost a position less player

He wasted a lot of time on the bench he would have played more at UL and would have had better coaching. It is a shame he made such a huge mistake that will have a negative effect on his pay scale even if he makes it in Europe.

I'm not going to hate on the young man. He followed his heart and went where he wanted to go. I obviously didn't agree with his college choice but he made it and he stuck with it. That in itself deserves respect.

I know this is a rivalry and all, but hating on the kids is a bit whacked.

JMO.

I wasn't hating, I pointed out that with him deciding not to come here, we ended up being able to sign Trez.

He can't play in any quality overseas league. Can't put the ball on the floor, CANNOT GUARD ANYONE, just an average shooter. Don't get me wrong he does a few good things, I like his passing ability. But he hasn't gotten any better, and his tat game really sucks! His daddy should throw some hot oatmeal on him - ala C.W. Moss of Bonnie and Clyde fame.

Didn't mean to sound like I was calling you out. I wasn't. Others like to pile on the kids at times and that's fine I guess. I'm not that guy is all I'm saying.

Come on now, even with a bias, he's more than an average shooter. I think he could succeed overseas, it's a different game than it is here. I agree he needs to add some weight but he's 6"9 229lb right now so he's not far off.
