Biggest issue for this team is that the defense hasn’t improved throughout the season. Unfortunately this will probably result in a NIT.

Not much has improved in any area for this team. Rookie coach etc. has played a bigger role in this team's outcome than I had anticipated.

Defense against good teams has been terrible. What makes it worse is they are terrible at home. Unfortunately, they don't get it defensively. When they do play good defense on a possession they can't get a rebound.

The defense has been pretty bad this season, especially against the good teams. It is something I'm not accustomed to seeing from UofL teams. I'm not used to seeing them give up easy basket after easy basket. But the defensive guru behind those past teams is gone.

One of the more disappointing things about this team is the seeming lack of effort to get after loose balls and rebounds. The loose ball aspect is frustrating because you see our guys sort of give half effort to grab the basketball while the opposing teams usually go full tilt, dive on the ground, do anything to get it.

I know that Snider has a cardinal heart, but he just gets in the way of our other defenders. Padgett should tell the guys that if they get beat on defense, they aren’t allowed to shoot the next offensive trip. That would light a fire under him and a few others on defense. Lol

This group lacks real team chemistry. Something 's amiss here and it shows up on defense too.

Simple. Our best offfensive players don’t play defense, King, Adel and Snider. McMahon tries but is a liability on switch outs. Our best defender Perry is a freshman and when given an opportunity loses his mind and tries to become Russ Smith when he was a FR.

Hey card, yeah Perry's disappearing act last night was huge for our chances. The guy who was supposed to slow down Berry took the wrong night off. As a sidenote, it might have had something to do with him reverting away from that 7 assist game, last out.
