Maybe. If he improved. Or, he could have been more of the same, or even worse. Good question though. I'm leaning to agreeing with you, he would have gotten better. I think playing off the ball hurt him greatly, so if he shifted back to mostly PG, he would have been more comfortable. He's just a combo point G that needs the ball in his hands offensively to impact the game 100%. Just my stone cold take.Question: would DJ have benefitted from another year at UofL? Congrats to him but I do believe he would have become a 1st round choice with another year at UofL. Just my opinion.
