Question: would DJ have benefitted from another year at UofL? Congrats to him but I do believe he would have become a 1st round choice with another year at UofL. Just my opinion.

Maybe. If he improved. Or, he could have been more of the same, or even worse. Good question though. I'm leaning to agreeing with you, he would have gotten better. I think playing off the ball hurt him greatly, so if he shifted back to mostly PG, he would have been more comfortable. He's just a combo point G that needs the ball in his hands offensively to impact the game 100%. Just my stone cold take.

I trust Maybins assessment he stated Dj made the right choice . And he just didn't see anythng with him that would have improved enough to made him a first pick if he came back. However he felt he should have gone a few spots higher.
