Bloody Sunday came and went without a single decommitment. Adam Gorney sure was wrong.
Great job by Brohm and all those involved for pulling off the unlikely feat of holding a class of highly valued recruits together after a coaching change with about two weeks to go until signing day.
Bravo.
Bosco Kids: I didn't think Aaron Williams was going anywhere but the other three appeared to be on the fence for a brief period. But no Bloody Sunday. Catch that one, CardfbFanatic06?
At this point it looks like all the Bosco kids are gonna stick, including DeAndre Moore.
Hedge: Texas isn't backing off Moore so it's not over.
So how did they pull that off? Allow me to editorialize. Brohm flew across the country to California. Showed his face on the block. Stood on the sidelines and watched his four core commits, that Satterfield "recruited," win the state title game while Satterfield told a few of his old-commits that he "recruited" to fly to Cincinnati for some Skyline Chili.
Jayden Davis purchased said chili. Rayquan Adkins and Stanquan Clark passed. Adkins is expected to visit this weekend and I already said what I said about Clark.
I'll admit I don't have an official list of visitors for this weekend. But so what, y'all will read just about anything right now.
What we all know (thanks for subscribing for this inside info) is Adkins, Fowles, and Sanker are coming. Baylor transfer safety Devin Neal, a Kentucky resident who played for Frederick Douglass, is also coming for an official.
Luke Burgess will prolly be here. Pretty sure he was gonna stick no matter who Louisville hired.
I think the most questions surround Adonijah Green. He was the first to commit to this class and was loyal to the coaches. So will he follow Brown and Satterfield to Cincinnati?
He might. He was also rumored to be going to Ole Miss even when Satterfield was here. However, that Ole Miss report was old and he just visited Cincinnati. I'll succumb to recency bias here. Well that and the fact I have access to all the sites on rivals so I went to RebelGrove.com and searched Green's name and either there isn't any new information about him or we need a new staff over there. I trust McReady so I'm going with no new info. HEDGE: Honestly I don't know what's up with him, hence my thesis statement.
I was told that Stephen Herron may visit this weekend but nothing official.
I expect Herron to pick Louisville, no hedge.
Woo Spencer won't visit this weekend. I don't think he even has to honestly. I still stand firmly on the Spencer to Louisville square. Herron doesn't have to visit either, but he's a sociably guy so I could see him doing that just to meet everyone. in reality the Bosco kids don't need to visit either, they've been here enough and Brohm flew out to see them.
More for you when it comes.
Ciao
