I’m not an NBA guy. I hope Dan Issel never
“get’s the job done” and I don’t think he will.

But, this time of year there’s not a lot to watch sports wise on the tube (not a MLB fan). So I do occasionally tune into to NBA Summer League ball. But that damn Dan Dakich makes me flip the channel. If he’s the best ESPN can offer then it’s gone to crap!

In his defense, he called out Grayson Allen for his flagrant fouls. I can think of another more famous ESPN announcer who defended Grayson Allen’s bad behavior.

BTW, Grayson Allen is still an a-hole.

I think he's a good in-game analyst. He does troll people on Twitter, which is good for his publicity/branding, so I don't let that bother me as I don't really care all that much about trolling people on Twitter.

I really think Coach K shaped Grayson to be the type of player and personality that he is. I think he wanted another bad boy Laettner type of player and he had Grayson be the bad boy. Unfortunately Grayson doesn’t know how to turn it off.

That’s something you don’t teach. It’s who you are. That doesn’t mean Coach K didn’t condone it or couldnt control it.

Totally agree, you can tell he was the kind of kid that if he didnt get his way or lost a game would cry like a little b*&^%. Its honestly a shame bc the kid can play!
