Blanton Creque deserves a standing ovation on Senior Day Nov 23rd. The kid from Shelbyville’s college football days are over. He chose to come to Louisville, weathered the storm in 2018 and turned out to be one of the best Placekickers ever to play here, making over 82% of his fgs (51 for 62).

They called an illegal formation because Trenell Troutman ran over to Creque to tell him something, probably some clarification about where Creque was gonna go with the ball. I’ve never seen that called and instead of it being called a dead ball penalty they throw the flag once the ball is kicked for some strange reason. The coaches could’ve used a timeout before the kick but again, no one has ever seen a penalty called for that.
