What happened I thought he was headed to Pitt? I guess he thought it was an easier road in the SEC. I hope he likes grits.

The SEC is getting better coaches and better players. Now we can debate how they are getting better players, but the reality is better players are going to SEC schools.
Yea, old, sloppy seconds type coaches. Everybody has sat around bashing Crean for the last year saying what a horrible coach he is and now the SEC fans want to talk him up since he's going to the SEC.
Crean sucks. The SEC has always had some decent talent, the coaches have always been terrible. The coaches have been upgraded, but they had only one way to go.

Georgia produces some talent now. If he can retain most of that he will do better than he would at Pitt.
He couldn't retain what talent that he had first dibs on in BB rich Indiana.
I think he was a solid hire for us. Is he elite? No, but you're not going to go from Mark Fox to Coach K. Crean is clearly better than what we've had and his offenses will be significantly more fun than Fox's slow, plodding style.
An unbelievable amount of B.B. talent in GA as there is in FB due to the explosion in the population over the last 20 yrs
I agree with you. I think it is a great spot for Crean without a ton of pressure like he had at Indiana.
