Even Jay Bilas picked yall over his Dukkies

And we all know, if SuCkS gets by Houston, Auburn wont play anywhere near this against the cayuts. Theyll lay down like the rest of the SeC

Go Cougars ! Final Four is there for the taking

Everybody just forgets the A$$ whipping U of L gave to UNC at home, all because of the Duke outcome.I did not see why everybody was picking them to win it all IMO.

Has anyone had an easier path to the Championship Game than Cal and Ky? Two years in a row, a virtual pillow fight.
You may want to check the NeT rankings per round and see how the highest ranked teams to lose were.

Wofford for round of 32
Houston for sweet 16

I don’t think Wofford was as bad as people are making them out to be, wofford was one of those teams that could have made a big run had their sharp shooter just hit for 25% from 3, which is well below his 41% avg, against uk. Houston was no pushover, definitely a top 16 team. Auburn is playing great right now, and uk vs Auburn is arguably the best elite 8 game. Uk will be fortunate if the kid from Auburn that got hurt against unc doesn’t play. I think uk’s road has been pretty tough really.

Wofford was a gimmicky team, the literal version of "live by the 3, die by the 3". Houston was balanced but didnt have the horses to finish the job. Auburn is crippled now and will bow before the mighty UK. UK wont face a solid tourney team until they meet the Purdue/UVA winner. Duke has had the toughest bracket so far and survived by the skin of their teeth.

Pillow. Fight.

Please, only a Ky fan would rationalize this. At least with Auburn you finally play a Power 5 school.

P I L L O W F I G H T

K State was the last one you faced in the tourney. How’d that work out?

It's pretty easy, but 6 years ago this one team had an easy path...

I think they played...(compared to UK this year):

R64- a 16 seed (UK played a 15 seed)

R32- an 8 seed from the Mountain west (UK played a 7 seed)

S16- played a 12 seed in the Sweet 16 (UK played a 3 seed)

E8- Played a tough 2 seed in the Elite 8 (UK is playing a 5 seed)

F4- Played a 9 seed from the Missouri Valley in the Final 4 (UK could play a 1 or a 3 seed)

Title game- And got a 4 seed in the title game....(UK could play a 1 seed, 2 seed, or 3 seed)

See...it's easy to spin when you want things to fit a narrative.
It wouldn't have been easy if the mighty 1 seed from the ACC didn't get blown out by a 5 seed that finished 4th in the $EC.

Or maybe...just maybe...that any game in the tournament after round 1 is against a good team? And a win is a win is a win?

So you’re acknowledging UofL won in 2013? Good to see, most Ky fans don’t.

You’re still rationalizing. The talking heads at CBS even said Ky has a cake walk to the Elite 8.

PILLOW. FIGHT.

Guaranteed you thought that undefeated Wichita State team you all played the following year in 2014 was pretty tough.

And the year after that, right? Didn’t they play Wichita in Indy? 2017?
You all keep changing the goal posts....And yes...Louisville won the 2013 title and was one of the best teams I've ever watched play college.

I think Wichita was tough in 2013 and 2014....
I think Houston and Wofford this season are good teams....
I was just showing how seeding and conference affiliation can be deceiving when it comes to judging a bracket. Wichita was a great team in 2013....but going by YOUR LOGIC...they're just a 9 seed from the Missouri Valley.

I don't think your run in 2013 was easy at all...I don't think ours will be easy this year if we have to play Virginia and then a Gonzaga/Duke/Mich State team in the title. We played a seed line that a 2 seed plays...15...7...3 and the ACC #1 seed team choked (against the 4th place SEC team....) that we were supposed to play.

Look at 2017....we had to play a tough Wichita in round 2...then Lonzo Ball and UCLA in the Sweet 16....then eventual national champions UNC in the Elite 8. Or 2014 had to play 3 teams that were in the previous Final 4 on the way to the title game. Or 2011 when we had to play the #1 overall seed Ohio State...then UNC...then Kemba and UConn....some years it's tough...some years it's easier...but a team in the tournament is good.

All I remember is when UK played Utah for the NC... enough said!

All I remember is when UK played Utah for the NC... enough said!
I remember Tubby outcoaching Coach K in Regional Final and Wojo being the villain of the day for Duke amongst the group of Cayut fans I was with. Utah was no slouch team. They had beaten two #1 Seeds (Zona and UNC) to get there. Rick Majerus was a VG coach.

The wife and I were dating and the Cards were not in tourney, so little from that year stuck with me. I had to google it.

I do remember Cayut fans being down on Tubby and thought I was going to get to see them eat a healthy serving of crow. Rather than give him any credit, most said, "But he did it with Rick's players!" With no one touching their serving of crow, I HAD to jab the needle in them with "It should have been three in a row!" That was always good for a major grimace on their part.

Thanks for bringing up Utah and 1998. Many of the wife's family with whom I watched the games have passed and it was good to think of them.
