Courier Journal Puff Pieces

What is the deal with all the puff pieces in the Courier-Journal on every individual player at UK-Lexington? Are they going to do the same for UofL?

Also, yesterday was UofL's Media Day and the headline above UofL basketball and football is some Pay Pal Cal article.

The Courier-Journal isn't even shy about being pro UK-Lexington anymore. It's disgusting.

I don't pay for it, stopped long aga, don't read it on line anymore, now I won't even pick it up at the Vet or Doctor's Office.....I'll take it home for Rover to ____ on.

UofL should cut all ties...although, it looks like they don't have to.

It is not only a bad newspaper when it comes to sports but they have bad coverage on everything. They are more of an opinion piece instead of a newspaper. I quit reading them when I found out they were using employees posing as readers to defend their false articles.

I am not technically challenged but I am a dinosaur when it comes to the newspaper. I grew up delivering it in the 70's & 80's and have been reading it ever since. It is difficult to break that habit but they have finally been successful in forcing me to give it up. I noticed the same thing ComCard. There were also recent days where there were 4 articles on UK and none on U of L. I stopped paying for it, but they are so desperate they have still been delivering it in hopes I'll restart I guess. It will be interesting to see how long they deliver it for free.

I'm 59 and grew up here in Lex having the C-J delivered to the house every morning for decades..... I dropped All subscriptions about 5+ years ago and haven't missed 'em once....

It has been the Crudy Journal since the Bingham's sold it. I used to look forward to the Louisville Times and the Courier. Then, they turned it into bird cage liner. I haven't picked up a copy for 10 years nor read it online.
