Ok - let’s see if we can keep this one on the rails, or Ty/Mods feel free to shut it down if truly needed but this is a fascinating situation and hopefully everyone got their personal bias’ out of the way yesterday.
CU now has 20 scholarship players
-a kid transferring out said Deon won’t let him have the tape from practices last year (before he was even the coach there) to show to other programs to try and find a new home. That’s lame as hell to put it nicely
-a DB entered the portal today who played for Deon at Jackson and followed him to CU. So it’s not like it’s just the old bad players at CU leaving. This was part of his “Louis luggage” he brought with him.
This is going to be wild to see how he is able to put a team together in 2 months and what kind of product they’ll actually be able to have this year.
Really hope Ben Perry doesn’t fall for the care salesman BS there. He’s the only one I have seen linked at all to them from our squad. No reason to go to a potentially messy situation like that when he’s setup to be one of the stars of our defense on a competitive team this year, and potentially getting drafted this time next year
