I cannot wrap my head around the fact that Sirmon got a $315k/yr raise to come to UofL. And on top of that he got a 3 year contract.

I’m also concerned about the fact that one assistant coach is the head coach’s son and another assistant coach is his son-in-law. I just don’t see how their job performances can be adequately assessed by the person in charge.

Just seems like the recipe for some personnel issues.

No one wants to work for petrino. If they’re not family - you’ve gotta overpay for them. I mean what non relative assistant football coach wants to hitch their wagon to petrino’s star? He’s crashed and burned about every assistant he’s ever had.

Because of that - his “coaching tree” looks about the same as sweaty cal’s
