Before he can hit the recruiting trail, he'll be on bedrest for a while after undergoing knee replacement surgery. On Monday, Mack posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed on Twitter along with the caption, "In 1991 my physical therapist, Andy Lair, told me I’d eventually get a knee replacement from all my ACLs. Maybe I misunderstood, but did he have the surgery on Monday? His wife posted a video of him walking in front of the tv for the title game... If he had the surgery on Monday and was walking around Monday night, wow! I guess that's an example of the toughness that he's been talking about.

From other things I've read, yeah Coach was walking around the day of surgery. I think methods have improved a lot over the years so that was possible.

Yeah, they want you back on your feet as soon as possible. They believe it helps with the healing process.
