Would you and is there anyway that we could get coach Cal after he leaves U.K. ? Would you enjoy his recruiting tactics ? Would you dislike the lack of coaching at times ?

NO THANKS!

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Meh...I would have no problem if that's who the AD thought was the best fit for our program at the time. I've never really warmed to the idea of Coach Pitino, after having coach Crum. But, I have enjoyed the success the program has had under Coach Pitino. I'm not a fan of Coach Calipari's personality (same for Coach Pitino), but if he brought us success in the program, I could live with the personality.

I don't want him, I want who Jurich wants. If that's Lite, so be it. They're all hired guns or at least that's the way they come in.

The only reason I'd enjoy Lite here is if he came directly from LPT. After Pitino, slapd!cks could never live with that.

"Elite program," my a$$...

Obviously not a fan of Calipari's recruiting philosophy, but it works for him and it fits in Lexington. Personally I would not like to see that philosophy in place at UofL. That's just a personal preference.

As a basketball coach, I find his coaching skill decent and improved. His coaching skills were not all that good early on in his career; yet he has improved over the years which isn't uncommon. The longer anyone does any job, they usually improve. I'll give him the credit he's earned regarding his improvement as a basketball coach. I don't know him as a person so I can't comment on that objectively.

Now that would mean you have to accept one and dones here. Something alot of folks on here turn their noses up at . Just saying not trying to start nothing!

There's more than one way to skin a cat, and it's not about "noses"... LPT tries to do it with a OAD system, and we do not. What you and a few others try to do is COMBINE the two, and that's where we break ranks.

You don't want Pitino focusing on OAD kids, but that's exactly what you want Lite to do. Until there's evidence otherwise, each guy excels at HIS OWN thing. Better that you understand and accept that.

Different subject but, personally, I have my doubts that kids like Bowen, King, and Langford will be happy under Pitino...

No way. He's a whiny cry baby and I have zero desire to have 5 one and done's each year. I can't stand it when we lose them after two or three years. Not my style. And my dislike for Cal has little to do with SuCk and everything thing to do with Memphis. And by the way I liked Pitino when he was at SuCk. Can't fault Cal for the one and done's as it's allowed, but I don't think it's good for college BB.

The ethics that Calipari compromised on his way up make him extremely distasteful to me - and particularly of someone wanted him coaching here.

That;s a big Hail No.

I do think that he is a players first coach and to me that's pretty cool. He is just using the systems own rules kind of like some do with our taxes. However I'm kinda on the fence about him. I think there is a little more good than we all see. I do think he is a family man.

Didn't he marry his friends wife?
He had an affair with her while she was married. True family guy for sure; still don't know him though. He could be a real stand up guy who just happened to fall in love with his friends wife then steal her away. Not going to judge. Not my place.

Hell no! I hate the one and dones, and you won't see any Kentucky boys on the team either. It will make you mad when he plays the 5 stars ahead of everyone regardless of talent, just so they get drafted. Kentucky might have won another title if he had sat Andrew Harrison in favor of Ulis in last five minutes of Wisconsin game. You would also get sick of hearing his excuse about having the "youngest team in America" LOL By the way, he didn't pull Harrison out because he felt like he "owed" him that much. SMDH
