Why not pound the ball inside where we have an incredible advantage?

I saw that and said the same thing. 31 seconds left when we got the ball with 30 seconds on the shot clock and we give it back to them with plenty of time for them to score which they did. I was just puzzled.
It's another teaching moment for Pitino. Seems small and petty now after the win, but it's a great point just the same. The kids have to understand the situation as it unfolds. They didn't handle that very well this time around.

If someone heaved up a jump shot I would agree. To often those possessions come down to someone dribbling the ball down to under 5 seconds and taking a bad shot. Anas had a point blank jump hook but missed it. I didn't have a real issue with it given the quality of the shot we got. I bet Pitino feels the same way.
Another evidence of this team's poor IQ. I noticed at least on 3-4 plays, our guys pushed Kennard to his left?? He's left handed. Seemed to make an adjustment at halftime.
We improve upon that and we have a special team on our hands.
This is why a tram like VA owns us and this is why lost to Baylor and have blow numerous leads like in Pitt game

I guess if you want to "find or look for" something to bitch about then this just might be what you'll find. Jeeze guys. And, by the way, WE WON THE DAMN GAME. CRP may not be a "perfect human being" (who is?) but I assure you guys that he get's this "clock" thing.

I posted this at halftime while at the game. It was a bad play that caused a potential 5 point swing. Sorry any negativity offends you.
Knuckle you have the right to be as negative as you want to be but I just don't "get it" especially when we are winning and are highly ranked. WTH if we were a poor team without discipline or direction I might be negative and critical myself but this is not the situation. And, by the way, I will reserve my right to be somewhat critical of those who are choose to be negative about a successful program and season. At this point in this season we are very successful.

Sounds good. I view this board as somewhere to express thoughts and analysis, some of which will be negative and some positive. Just because a team is playing well doesn't mean there aren't scenarios that merit some discusdion. I enjoy a good discourse. If all this board is team high-fiving then it will become quite stale I think.
I thought the OP was being insightful and knowledgeable about the game situation which the kids didn't handle very well. I really didn't think he was being negative. He was showing a clear understanding of how the game should be played though and the fact the kids on the floor didn't. Again, it will be a teaching point for coach and we did win the game, so it's a win-win for everyone.
in this pc culture anyone that speaks differently is viewed as being negative. We have to get this set of kids to think time and score. That is not being negative, that is wanting to avoid another Baylor situation.
maybe some of these sore booty posters can create threads instead of doing drive byes and raining on everyone with an opinion
with a lot of work, this team can be special.
